Where
Nita Taylor and Grady Cato have graciously allowed us the use of their private, picturesque farm in Waleska. The wedding will be held in the open air (weather permitting) and the reception will take place under a tent on the lawn.
Canton is the closest city to Nita and Grady’s. (It’s about a 25 minute drive from Canton to Waleska.) We’ve made some nearby accommodation arrangements for those of you traveling.
Note: You’ll be in the country, so cell reception might get spotty! Couldn’t hurt to have a map with you.

Alternative Accommodations
You can find beautiful cabins and properties for rent near Lake Arrowhead on VRBO (about a 30- or 40-minute drive from Nita’s farm). Blue Sky Cabin Rentals near Ellijay (about a 40-minute drive) also has some nice options. Just puttin’ that out there, in case you want to make a vacation of the weekend.
FAQ
What should I wear?
- This is an outdoor wedding in the country in spring, so it is informal. This means: no tux or evening gown necessary.
But definitely dress up! We suggest spring-appropriate suits and ties (with nice shoes), and elegant but comfortable spring dresses, if you got ’em.
Rosa won’t be decked out in sparkles and satin, if that helps you decide what to wear! (Vincent, however, will be decked out in sparkles and satin.)
The ceremony and reception will be held on the lawn, so ladies may want to wear comfortable heels. Wedges and thick heels will be your best friend, but if you’ve gotta wear those pretty stilettos, these heel protectors might do the trick.
Can I take pictures?
- We respectfully ask that our guests keep their phones, tablets, and cameras holstered during the length of the ceremony.
Here’s the thing. We appreciate that you want to capture important moments of the wedding, but it doesn’t exactly make for good pictures:
So please relax and be mindful and fully present during the ceremony. Our photographer will be capturing the event, and we’ll be happy to share the pictures with you afterward!
When the ceremony concludes, though, feel free to snap away! And if you’re of the Instagram persuasion…

Just sayin’.
Where are you registered?
- We sincerely appreciate your presence at our wedding, and we understand the time, effort, and expense it will take to attend. We also have most of our home essentials covered. As such, we aren’t expecting any gifts, and we don’t have a traditional gift registry.
However, we did set up a honeymoon registry for those who wish to give gifts anyway. You can find it over at Newlywish:
Can I bring a guest?
- We’ve worked hard to create an intimate guest list within our budget limitations and tent capacity. Unfortunately, unless indicated on the invitation, we cannot accommodate this request.
Are kids welcome?
- Yep! If your household was invited, your child(ren) can come. Parents, please note that there are large animals and a swimming pool on the property.
Where can I park?
- There is a designated parking area on location. Attendants will be there to help.
